Document Management

An advanced document management system (DMS) is included with any KommerceServer deployed application. A library of documents can be maintained and organized for multiple types of media files (e.g. PDF, Word, Excel, Video). These documents can be linked to other objects within KommerceServer where pertinent. A common use is to link documents to a class of items or a specific item profile in the web store where they are displayed as resources that can be downloaded from the product page. Documents defined can have multiple media files associated to support different versions and/or languages.

Optionally, documents can be gated so that the user is required to fill out a request form to register on the website before they can receive the electronic or hard copy of the document. The following image shows an example of the multi-language and gated download/order capabilities of KommerceServer's Document Management System.
